Campaign collateral & website design, 2008

Melbourne Citymission's annual homelessness campaign has been running for many years with a well-established format and supporter base. Beginning in 2007 and continuing in 2008 they made a goal of attracting a new audience to their awareness-raising campaign by introducing a more accessable format and increasing the use of the internet and email as communication channels.

Dan was able to take the basic design elements provided and create a campaign theme, then roll it out across a wide variety of media from newspaper advertising to posters, and of course the web.

Website 2.0

Building on the successful campaign website format of 2007, Dan designed and developed a site that allowed more user interaction and feedback, through java menus, photo gallerys and full online event registration. The result has been an upturn in support for PJ Day and increased acceptance of the new method of communication, while reducing the per-event load on staff.
